From September 1 to February, the Royal Thai Embassy, in collaboration with the Department of Mental Health, Ministry of Public Health, organized a mental health promotion project to improve the quality of life of Thai people in Sri Lanka. The embassy invited a Thai psychologist, namely Dr Terdosak Detkorn from the Department of Mental Health, to visit the Thai community in Sri Lanka.
On September 2, Dr Terdosak, along with consular and consular staff, visited Thai prisoners at Warikada Prison in Colombo, asking them questions about their living conditions and mental health, giving them advice on ways to reduce stress, and providing them with appropriate information. provided. On September 9, a seminar on ways to improve the quality of life in Sri Lanka was held at the Royal Thai Embassy. His Excellency Chulamani Chhatuwan welcomed the Thai people who attended the seminar. Dr. Terdosak, who was the speaker at this seminar, also provided individual counseling to those who requested it.
